Hi,

Thank you for reporting this.

Postfixadmin dies at the start, because autoloader configuration generated by php-composer is not found. Instead of tha login page, httpd returns only this:

vendor/autoload.php is missing. Please run 'install.sh' or follow the instructions in INSTALL.TXT

This was already reporter as but 1135837, but closed with upload of a new upstream version 4.0.4+ds and archived. What exactly was the new upstream version supposed to fix here? The bug is still reproducible with 4.0.5+ds-1.

I thought upstream fixed it: https://github.com/postfixadmin/postfixadmin/issues/1026 when I uploaded 4.0.4+ds-1, but today I looked closer and found that I made a mistake of assuming it was fixed. Sorry about that!

I am preparing an upload this weekend or the next to really fix this.

I believe the problem is here: postfixadmin commits suicide at the startup, because ./vendor/autoload.php does not exist.

/usr/share/postfixadmin/common.php:
------
<?php

if (!is_file(dirname(__FILE__) . '/vendor/autoload.php')) {
    die("vendor/autoload.php is missing. Please run 'install.sh' or follow the instructions in INSTALL.TXT");
}
require_once(dirname(__FILE__) . '/vendor/autoload.php');
------

Upstream uses php-composer to manage php dependencies. When packaged to debian, I guess this is not the case but dependencies are handled the Debian way, as they should. Thus we do not have the composer-generated autoloader configuration.

Or am I missing something?

Cheers,
