In version 4 of Austin the output is a custom binary format (MOJO). The smoke test ( https://salsa.debian.org/python-team/packages/austin/-/blob/debian/latest/debian/tests/smoke.sh?ref_type=heads) is trying to count the textual occurrences of P as an estimate of the number of samples collected. This will no longer work. My recommendation would be to change this check to an output file size check instead.
