The provenance of the "17 new True Type fonts" is totally unclear.
Some of their metadata claim they are licensed under GPLv2 but the
copyright file only has OFL-1.1 for the upstream files.

All of the fonts are to be found on the web with hints that they are
licensed under OFL, however, those come with Reserved Font Name clauses
that stem from different fonts which they are probably based on (or they
import those fonts for the latin glyphs).

Also, there are several Copyright claims in the font metadata that is
not represented in the copyright file.

One can also find source projects for some of the fonts. However, the
version shipped by Debian seems to be older. Most probably, there was a
relicense from GPL-2 to OFL-1.1 but this is not documented at all.

In short, the copyright file needs work. I would suggest to make a new
font package for each of the fonts where the source is available (at
least for GPL-licensed material the source has to be available) and
reduce this package to the original three fonts.
