Hi,

This package is in the dependency chain of tt-rss, currently not in
testing, thus opening this bug as RC to see this package also removed
from testing.

Using “Restrictions: allow-stderr” in debian/tests/control is probably
enough to fix the issue, but I don’t really see the point of fixing it
while tt-rss is not ready for Trixie.

Regards,

taffit

Hi,

These bugs were fixed in php-gettext 1.0.12-7, but that upload was
rejected and never reached the archive. The same changes went into
1.0.12-8, which is now in unstable, but that upload did not carry the
1.0.12-7 changelog entry, so the bugs were not closed automatically.
Closing them by hand.

From the 1.0.12-7 changelog entry:

* Use PHPUnit attributes instead of doc-comment annotations for the
data providers (Closes: #1117419)
* Keep the PHPUnit cache out of /usr/bin, which is not writable, so the
tests no longer write to stderr (Closes: #1092095)
* Remove the PHPUnit cache in debian/clean, so the source package can
be built after a binary build (Closes: #1049264). Thanks to Phil Wyett
for the merge request.

Cheers
