Hi Alexandre,

I tried to fix this probably fairly trivial bug, only to find that the 
build fails for unrelated reasons, and the repository on Salsa is a 
mess:

By the way, I should say that I really appreciate the huge amount of 
excellent QA work that you do in general!  I just want to have some idea 
of what's best to do when work is incomplete, that's all.
