The invalid tags written by mutagen may be ignored or deleted by other software that handles these tags correctly; I suppose technically the data is still present in the file, but being inaccessible seems to be effectively equivalent to "lost". If another severity would be more appropriate, then so be it, but it seems to me that writing out corrupt files should warrant an RC severity of some kind. -- mithrandi, i Ainil en-Balandor, a faer Ambar
