Hi Upgrading a system with multiple kernels installed I noticed that only the running kernel has its initrd rebuilt. Setting up udev (0.105-3) ... (I will report the bug about failure to clean up the old -2.6.17-2-686.bak image seperately). My main concern is that the sequence, install new/alternate kernel, upgrade udev, reboot to new/alternate kernel, could result in boot failures or other problems, if the difference between udev versions is significant. If you are satisfied that the above won't cause problems, please feel free to downgrade. Thanks for your work in Debian.
