Package: debian-installer Severity: critical Justification: breaks the whole system
The indian mirror site for debian still seems to be having only Debian 3.x packages and the MAIN PROBLEM being that netinst of Debian 4.0 goes ahead and imports the Debian 3.x package info without giving any warning. Also it doesn't give the option for selecting the packages to be installed as part of installing. On booting into the new system apt/aptitude lists Debian 3.x packages for installation. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-4-686 Locale: LANG=en_IN, LC_CTYPE=en_IN (charmap=UTF-8) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
