What I suggest is using :
make extras CD=1 DIR=file.txt ROOTSRC=/where/file.txt/is/
It's not tested, obviously it was designed for including a complete
directory but it may work for single files.
However I just see a bug in this target. It does still use $(BDIR)/$(CD)
instead of $(BDIR)/CD$(CD) ... the first who commit the fix has won the
right to add the 2.2.3 changelog entry. :)
