Hi,

I tried to install woody from CDROM set
ftp://ftp.fsn.hu/pub/CDROM-Images/debian-unofficial/

It kept getting stuck on boot in /etc/init.d/sysklogd

I traced the problem to an error that happens in many network operations
(ping localhost, telnet localhost, /sbin/syslogd -d, ....) ifconfig
gives reasonable loopback device description.

Inconsystency detected by ld.so: dynamic-link.h 62: elf_get_dynamic_info
Assertion `! "bad dynamic tag"' failed!

Studying different discussion it looks like a Debian specific problem.

Installation by itself went OK.

I don't really know what information would be helpful to tackle this
problem.

Sasha.
