Hi! MW> real image. The issue was not the load on the debian mirrors but on the MW> debian iso mirrors that kept the real isos available for rsyncing. This MW> rsync ate a lot of cputime. And not to forget: memory usage - I've some experience in rsyncing complete images against another, here at my server and mirror this is a bit of work for the server. If there are some rsyncs running for images this machine runs out of memory and rsyncing only works with choosen blocksize to 8092 (took sometime to find this). So jigdo is just a better way for distributing images, works fine at most of the time and does not produce high load. So thanks Richard for this great tool, even it takes much time to build a file database for my local mirror ;-) Jan - -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.2 (MingW32) Comment: Benutzt PGP!
