But there is 7 cd to download. My question is: can i do the install just with the first cd, or in the middle of the install they will say: please insert cd 2... it is possible without problems. After base-system-install, they will ask you to insert all your debian-cds (3.0r3-binary1..binary7) and build the package-tree. If you insert only CD1, then the package-tree is smaller and you cannot select packages to install, which lay on other CDs. But Debian runs without problems.
