On one of your pages mentioning programs to use for downloading Debian ISO images, I thought it might be useful to mention the win32 port of wget, which can be found at the URL below. (I refer to http://www.debian.org/CD/http-ftp/ above).

Actually, that version of wget for windows hasn't been updated for quite some time. Here's a better alternative if you just want wget:
http://space.tin.it/computer/hherold/
That said, I usually need to feel more at home when I'm in ms windows, so I use cygwin to get a whole set of applications:
http://www.cygwin.com
or if you're in a hurry and want the installer directly:
http://cygwin.com/setup.exe [167KiB]
