Some perhaps. If you've a laptop that is a really hard case, try making your own NFS boot disk. If you can get the ether and the hard disk drivers right, then just manually partition the drive and untar the sid base.tgz onto it. Install your kernel, chroot to get lilo set up and you should be in business. The hardest part is getting your NFS kernel both right and small enough for your boot floppy.
