I'm requesting that aria2 ( http://packages.debian.org/aria2 ) be listed on both the HTTP/FTP and BitTorrent download pages. It supports resuming downloads from regular HTTP/FTP sources, and also BitTorrent downloads. It has a CLI and uses low system resources and theres a Windows port. It has advanced features like multi-source downloading and automatic checksum verification and repairing of corrupted downloads too.
