-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Good afternoon.
I have seen several people posting articles and in forums complaining that the default Debian CD#1 installs GNOME, and they can't get it to install anything else. Most such people instantly give up on Debian, because they cannot be bothered to use the commandline boot options like desktop=KDE. And, such command line options are not obviously documented. Can Debian default CD#1 be named -GNOME.iso the same way that -KDE and -XFCE.iso's are labeled, please? Thank you. Please forgive me if this has been thrashed to death already, I was only recently referred to this list to make this request. Curt- P.S. I've been using Debian since it came on 14 floppies. Installing from a CD is a dream, and I deeply appreciate all your work. - -- Treason! http://blog.mises.org/archives/007926.asp -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) iQEVAwUBSEWa2S9Y35yItIgBAQL03wf/ViJvueaRibrB4c2sRD1NgtrBA6QubTbA kvkI5WY30EPCa9rPhq6GPS8rvpawE+beNI810ueVwjph5YRmAy2NuhGAlzVkzWNw eBZlkR88I2kiQdquL89VTEjC5l6TnWKd6HubVym+7chCMtXdiNNV4BM/GPsWNu5z 8zv7W8yIWvrx2k4vWbDT2BjXCtLqLhmde9Vuh8WfVf9Q9YQ6OoisRtwKzJGZny03 NEAWTzhWrGY2IUPV8Rm57e8VHgGodiREVOtoC71eC+vLbzaMh7PXQmmjktPrTXKl 0Ma1uRij8/Eh3pJ4ZVs6D7QjlBXgAtIXPO51tJrjto/sHrvg6IXHwQ== =h23U -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
