Package: cdimage.debian.org Severity: wishlist
Inside http://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/ the 'current' directory points to the most current release (which is absolutely great), like e.g. http://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/current/amd64/iso-cd/ It would be great if there would be a "stable" URL for ISOs like the netinst ones too, so it's possible to grab: http://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/current/amd64/iso-cd/debian-current-amd64-netinst.iso instead of e.g.: http://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/current/amd64/iso-cd/debian-507-amd64-netinst.iso which will be a 404 as soon as release 508 is available. regards, -mika- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
