Ah, this must be from a bug in D-I which generated this extra cdrom/ dir. I fixed it a few days ago: http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=d-i/debian-installer.git;a=commitdiff;h=822214d09339bc0f7af08a8955fdda9944683ae0 I assume no other action is needed to fix this in debian-cd?
