When an official release announcement is prepared, it would be really great if the cryptographic sums were put into the email. Today I was stuck with very poor internet and only an older copy of a squeeze CD (debian-6.0.4-amd64-CD-1.iso) and I wanted to verify the hashes on that iso. I couldn't find anywhere older hashes, only the newest ones.
Fortunately, KiBi was on IRC and met my demands, but I suspect KiBi doesn't scale :) thanks! micah --
