During a standard installation (selecting all defaults) using the weekly testing net-installation iso for amd64 (http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/unofficial/non-free/cd-including-firmware/weekly-builds/amd64/iso-cd/firmware-testing-amd64-netinst.iso) the system hangs during the 'Scanning of the CD-ROM' which is part of the 'Configuring APT' step.
The system appears frozen e.g. I cannot do alt+f1 to look at messages, nor is it possible to select 'cancel'. This is distinct from the issue which plagued the previous weekly build, where the system would stop with a 'pkgsel finished' message after installing packages selected during the software installation step. The new issue occurs much earlier in the process. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
