Hi, I wanted to test the installation of Jessie on a Dell PowerEdge 2900, which need bnx2 module with a firmware.
With Wheezy, according with the wiki, https://wiki.debian.org/DebianInstaller/NetbootFirmware I was able to include firmware on the initrd (all deb in a /firmware directory). Now with Jessie, the same method is not working and give me the "Can't load firmware file "bnx2/…" My workaround was to extract firmwares from deb into /lib/firmware. Is this a bug ? On witch package should I report it ? PS : I tested also the last debian-jessie-DI-b2-amd64-netinst.iso, thinking the #725714 bug have been resolved… But no.
