8.0 was not recognized too. 7.8 was recognized!
Erm, we didn't *have* a 7.8 image for ppc64el! It was only added for
8.0.
I'm sorry. Debian 7.8 is powerpc:
debian-7.8.0-powerpc-CD-1.iso
