Package: cdimage.debian.org Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
I was looking for a live DVD of testing (stretch) and stumbled upon http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/weekly-live-builds/ Its parent directory claims that it contains "Regular builds of testing / (what will be Stretch)". Great! Just what I was looking for. Or so I thought. The time stamps for the images are three and a half month old (as of writing) and the images have an 8.2.1 version number. Slightly alarmed, I checked the packages file for one of the images. Turns out that these images really are Debian 8.2 (aka Jessie). Bummer for me, but please either update the live images for stretch weekly as documented or just remove them completely. There are live images for the latest stable Debian release and those are at 8.3 already. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'testing-updates'), (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.3.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=ja_JP.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=ja_JP.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: sysvinit (via /sbin/init) Hope this helps, -- Olaf Meeuwissen, LPIC-2 FLOSS Engineer -- EPSON AVASYS CORPORATION Free Software Foundation Associate Member since 2004-01-27 Support Free Software https://my.fsf.org/donate Join the Free Software Foundation https://my.fsf.org/join
