The file
./pool/main/t/texlive-extra/texlive-latex-extra-doc_2016.20170123-5_all.deb on
the DVD image failed the MD5 checksum verification.
This happens to the DVD images for both amd64 and i386 architecture. I
noticed this from the DVD images published since late January 2017
and persists till the latest release on March 23 2017.
I used jigdo-lite to download these images and the images downloaded
each time were good.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
Diselected the installation of Print Server from the menu during the
"Choose software to install"
* What was the outcome of this action?
* What outcome did you expect instead?
It appears this particular file is corrupted and needs to be looked at.

You are talking about a different package now (note the -doc, and -2
vs. -5).
Also, the dashes (-) seem to have been replaced with underscores (_).
I suspect this is the file you're refering to:
http://snapshot.debian.org/package/texlive-extra/2016.20170123-2/#texlive-latex-extra-doc_2016.20170123-2
That file is no longer in the archive, so is not on current images.
That probably means that it's not particularly worthwhile attempting to
track down the cause of your issue I'm afraid, since I don't have easy
access to the .iso image that you're on about.
That being the case, I'm going to close this bug -- please feel free to
download the latest image, and if you experience similar issues, reopen
the bug, or perhaps open a new one.
If you choose to do that, please make sure that you include the
checksums of all the files in question, and the result of running
something like this (with the same filename as the one that's giving you
a problem):
grep texlive-latex-extra-doc_2016.20170123-2_all.deb md5sums.txt
(which should be run in the top-level directory of the DVD, replacing
the package name with the exact one that gave you the error).
