I observed Linux User (08.2917) distributed Debian9 Stretch 9 without
Realease Number and Linux Welt(5/2017*August/September) Rettungs-CD with
XFCE did help. I use XFCE and with tricks I was able to come back to an
efficient working Laptop combined over USB with 2 TB WD Elements, since
some days I usethe new release Debian Stretch 9.02 and are very sufficient

Hi,
I have noted that the unofficial firmware DVD images found on
cdimage.debian.org are quite a bit smaller than the Official images. I
was under the impression that they were to be identical except for the
addition of the non-free firmware.
Is there a reason for the reduced size?
