I've just tested now: $ btdownloadcurses.bittorrent https://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/current-live/amd64/bt-hybrid/debian-live-10.3.0-amd64-xfce.iso.torrent <download happened> $ sha256sum debian-live-10.3.0-amd64-xfce.iso 898fa914f4615dcb8fb4da9e351fa370d7f142bceaee76fa44e11e440dda44a6 debian-live-10.3.0-amd64-xfce.iso and that checksum matches the one in https://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/current-live/amd64/bt-hybrid/SHA256SUMS This sounds like you have a problem locally, to be honest.
