The Trixie Alpha 1 release was for the non-live media ONLY and was a test of the debian-installer as much as anything.. I suspect that the live CD process is still developing. There are a *lot* of moving parts to bring together. There is a dedicated debian-live mailing list and also #debian-live on OFTC IRC. That process, plus the fact that the Trixie Alpha 1 release faced issues releasing source media because of image sizes may explain why the URLs aren't working right at the moment.
