Hi, Cyril Brulebois mentioned that the size limit for amd64-netinst is currently 1G.
The 951 MiB of debian-testing-amd64-netinst.iso will not fit on any commercially available CD type. The largest CD-Rs which i know claim to take "900 MB" (and that only if the CD drive is willing to overburn that much). A hard limit for CD size is the adressing mode by a triple of "minute":"second":"frame" where "minute" is restricted to two digits. I.e. 100 audio minutes is the first illegal address. That's 100 * 60 * 75 = 450,000 sectors = 921,600,000 data bytes = 878.90625 data MiB. So it seems about time that the "iso-cd" directories in https://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/*/*/amd64 get renamed to something like "iso-netinst". Have a nice day :) Thomas
