Hi, There was just this *very* interesting announcement on freshmeat: http://freshmeat.net/projects/textrace/ I believe P彋er Szab?, the author, will soon himself post to this list. He has written a tracer that converts TeXfonts into Type 1 fonts. He reports that it works for the EC fonts!
