Hi, all I had modified Python JapaneseCodecs into Chinese version, so that it's possible to handle Chinese text in Python 1.6+ (I have done a little test in PythonLabs 2.1a1 and Active- State 2.0). Only GB2312/GBK/Big5 supported now, and more test is needed to find bugs. The downloading page is http://www.socix.com/~adoal/python/
