"Yao, anyone who is absent, please raise your hands!" :p And yes, we can still reach the outside world here from Taiwan, because Chunghwa Telecoms managed set up a new line from Taiwan to Japan to the U.S. in less than 24 hours, so we now have about 90% of the bandwidth back one line. Quite a bargain at about USD. $17,000,000 a week... Fixing the undersea cable in question would take at least 2 weeks. -- Chuan-kai Lin
