debian-installer 和相关文件的映像档（45MB），或是再加上最小安装所需要的 档案（83MB）。Santiago 不知道该让这两个中的哪一个成为官方提供的映像档之 一。Tollef Fog Heen 认为[25]可以同时提供这两者，但是 Jason Andrade 指出[26] 太多不同的光碟映像档不但增加映射站台的负担，也会造成初学者的混淆。 24. 问[34]如果一个函式库须要连结（link）另一函式 库，当后者有新的版本，重新编译过的前者名称（soname）中的版本该如何处理？如 果增加前者的版本编号，可能会造成它和其它发行者的函式库不相容。但是如果沿用 原来的版本号码，会让使用它的套件无法使用，而且无法重新编译。Junichi Uekawa 回应说明[35]他处理版本号码的方式[36]，并指出[37]除非 unstable 中所有使用到
