Ah, ok! Currently, the font packages are recommended by their respective language-pack. Reason is that some people might choose not to install the (large) fonts and use their own. But this solution has created problems for a number of persons, since they were unaware that pre-built font packages were available. In the next release of latex-cjk, I will keep the recommendation for the font packages in their respective language-packs, but I will add a Dependency on all the font packages (Chinese and Japanese) if you install latex-cjk-all.
