I haven't decided yet of I will directly with 3.0.12. In general I use the
latest version available as long as I haven't rebased all downstream
patches yet, which is the case here. So I will go ahead with 3.0.12. There
are 2 unresolved kfreebsd-i386 and ia64 build regressions. I already took
care of the build regressions on armel, sparc and s390x. 3.0.12 will not
address the ia64 issue, as the last commit was back in August 2012 for ia64
:-/
