I'm already working on this; I have a mirror I am testing in the
Sydney region, accessible only within the region to keep traffic costs
miminal. Its around 200 GB of RRS storage, and currently works off cron
4 times per day. For sources.list:

        * deb
http://debian-sydney.s3-website-ap-southeast-2.amazonaws.com/debian/
wheezy main contrib non-free

I envisage having this stable, and set up
for mirror pulse, in the next week or so, and will then start to deploy
similar in other regions. Once this is done, I'll look at the
http.debian.net mirror redirector service to have it direct clients from
within the AWS Regions to transparently use this mirror. (For extra
points, we'll then possibly look at hosting some http.debian.net
redirector nodes!)
