This AMI's availability is temporary and will be removed without prior notice, please do not use this directly in any CloudFormation templates or AutoScaleGroup deployments. We're about 5 days away from the Debian 7.2 release[2], so having this (with cloud-init) ready in time would be a nice step forward for our current PVM images, and validate the switch from the shell scripts to the python scripts ahead of further hacking as required. As always, feedback is greatly appreciated.
