(...) Thanks for all the work on this tool! I was wondering; are there any plans to make it more usable as a regular user? It seems it shouldn't be necessary to run it as root (at least not in all use-cases)? Running this ss a regular user would make it more versatile for continuous build of images etc. Perhaps there are ways to work with eg docker (or other cpio/tgz-based) images w/o needing to run as root?
