Hi Shawn, thanks for the report and for your patience. Indeed, as mentioned in the discussion on GitHub, what is needed is an update of cloud-init, followed by a backport. The problem on my side is that I am unable to secure moments where I know I can concentrate for one hour or two, to work on this task. You may seem me active on that list, but I post from the train (like now) or in the evenings where I am tired, or when my baby sleeps and can wake up any time, ...
