I've add myself to the wiki for the sprint. I'm interested in attending. I have seen a lot of installation, configuration tools, live-builder and CD imaging tools in the past years (and do my own FAI project since 16 years) which all do similar things under the hood.
I also think that a coherent tool strategy is important for creating custom images, which is needed since Debian will not be able to fit the needs of all our cloud users. I like to help creating such a tool or improving an existing one. -- regards Thomas
