It appears the 8.1-8.3 AMIs are available in Amazon Marketplace, and that 8.4 AMIs are community contributed. We have been using the latter in eu-west-1 for a while now. 8.5 was released on June 4: https://www.debian.org/News/2016/20160604 Are you planning on making an AMI for 8.5 available at some point?
