Hello, Thanks for your email, I'm a little confused to the relationship against ecl.
The bug 1097369 was filed against src:maxima-sage, but now the title of the bug is against macutils and the diff seems also to be against macutils. Was there a mixup with the name? I had assumed that the new ecl version 24.5.10.20250914.git294da20+dfsg-1 fixes the gcc-15 problems, so if there is still a problem left I would very much like to hear it. Best regards, Peter
