Most of peoples seems to agree with the fact the gnome2 should not stay in experimental Having scripts to automate transition from gnome1 desktop to gnome2 desktop, will be great ... but gnome2 don't provide these tools for the moment. Anybody have an idea of time before these scripts well be ready ? Should you wait for that ... configure a gnome desktop is not a long task, make a *2 version of packages is a lot of work, and gnome migration will be done before next stable releas. So I think you should not have problem if you just remplace gnome1 by gnome2 in unstable. Cheers, Sebastien Bacher
