Which is a red-herring if ever I heard one. If I were to join the committee, I'm entitled to read the archives to find out what went on previously. Just like I can read the debian-private mailing list, to see what went on before. We seem to manage to keep an archive for debian-private without trouble, I'm sure debian-ctte-private could be done similiarly.
