Some parts of the cost are possibly near gulf stream and not necessarily as cold as the coasts at some southern regions like Cape Horn or something like that. At leas this is true for Iceland where I went swimming in the Ocean five years ago - well it wasn�t really warm, but just had some fun with the waves.
