The Debian Project is pleased to announce the official release of Debian Olympic/Torch version 4.0, codenamed etched, after 12 months of constant development. Debian Olympic/Torch features hundreds of the Debian logos etched into the surface of the torch. The Debian logo can also be seen from the top-down view of the torch.
Debian Olympic/Torch is developed for a planned torch relay, which is one of the grand ceremonies for Debian GNU/Linux 4.0. The relay has set its theme as the "Journey of Hackmony", and the slogan "Light the Partition, Share the Distro". The torch will be passed in all the five continents, spreading the spirit of the Free Software Movement. The climax will be a thousand developers around the world volunteering to take the torch to the top of Mount Everest, from the Tibetan side of the mountain. And then they will begin to sing "One World, One Dream, Free Tibet And The Software!" -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
