I think the "Debian Metadistro Project" on Alioth tries to achieve what it's needed by CDD. http://alioth.debian.org/project/metadistros/ Someone knows if the project managers are subscribed on this list? (Jose Carlos Garcia Sogo and Teofilo Ruiz Suarez). The project seems to be died/stopped cosimo.
