-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi,
I see some of you discussed a mini-livecd-installer tool recently (browsing the web archive just before I finally subscribed to this list - - sorry it took me a year to do so...). Fabian Franz, a Knoppix hacker, has recently succeded in moving his Knoppix-based LiveCD to use Debian-Installer through (as I understand it) borrowing some work of Ubuntu (called "casper"). Last weekend Fabian posted a summary of his approach here: http://www.skolelinux.de/wiki/SkoleLive/DebianInstaller-makeyourown Please point me to it if there's already a common wiki page for comparison of approaches to making LiveMedia (so I can also post it there when I get more polished HOWTO for my LiveUpdateableUsbStick aimed at firewalls and single applications like a VoIP phone). - Jonas - -- * Jonas Smedegaard - idealist og Internet-arkitekt * Tlf.: +45 40843136 Website: http://dr.jones.dk/ - Enden er nÃr: http://www.shibumi.org/eoti.htm -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.1 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFCiwI8n7DbMsAkQLgRAjCjAJ0YI96VS7yxiYA0cIpGgqUEpEMzzACcD/yS 7P80UAMiErWDzRIGYOlP6CY= =XkXV -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
