CDD is more a concept then a process. What you need is fix and adapt
what we have available to make your work easier and try your best to
avoid to change unneeded packages.

For include other packages (new or backports) you should always try to
keep version smaller then testing so you'll have less problems to deal
with upgrade issues when new stable release gets out. Well, this is a
start.

Do a look in simple-cdd and have fun.
