Ian Jackson (the original author) sent me a perl5ish rewrite of filelock
a while back. I always meant to get round to testing and committing it,
so I guess I'll try to do that soon ...
Well, that would be great, because the orig. errorlib is fugly (sorry, but it is :-) )
anyway, my friend wrote a beautiful replacement, but the other code logic needs to be changed a little (read: proper perl coding)
