Just for the record, providing XML support (or indeed any marginally sane output format from the log files) is almost impossible without totally changing the way the log files are done. Moreover, I've no idea how to sanely parse the mail messages themselves into something more useful than we're ouputing now without completely losing all of the information. I'm tagging it wontfix, not because it's a bad idea, but just because it's something that will be almost impossible to actually implement sanely.
